Who we are
Mooring Counselling is a counselling practice at 2 Custom House Quay, Falmouth, Cornwall. We are the data controller for the information you share with us. Questions: hello@mooringcounselling.co.uk.
What we collect
When you book a call or send a message we receive what you type into the form. If you become a client, your therapist keeps brief session notes and your contact details.
Why we keep it
To reply to you, arrange and provide therapy, and meet our professional and legal duties. Health information is special category data; we process it to provide health care, with your consent.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t lead to therapy are deleted after six months. Client records are kept securely for seven years after therapy ends, as our insurers and professional bodies require, then destroyed.
Who we share it with
No one, except in the rare circumstances explained in your first session (serious risk of harm or a legal requirement). Supervision is anonymous. We never sell data.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
