Dr Elin Rowe
Elin works with anxiety, grief and the long shadow of difficult childhoods, with warmth and a lot of patience.
01 — About
Elin trained at the Metanoia Institute and worked for eight years in NHS adult mental health services before opening Mooring in 2010. Her work is integrative: relational and psychodynamic at its heart, with practical tools from CBT and compassion-focused therapy when they help. She works with adults facing anxiety, low mood, grief and loss, and the patterns that start in childhood and follow us into adult relationships. Clients often describe her as calm, direct and quietly funny. Outside the therapy room Elin swims in the harbour most mornings, all year round.
